Coffee Recipe: French Press


Preparation:

  1. Measure 60 grams, or just under 1/2 cup of coffee beans.
  2. Grind coffee beans coarsely.
  3. Measure 900 grams of water, or around 4 cups.
  4. Heat water to 200 degrees. To estimate temperature, bring water to boil and then remove from heat for 60 seconds.

Instructions:

  1. Add ground coffee to french press.
  2. Pour 200g, or about 1 cup, of water.
  3. Stir to ensure grounds are evenly wet.
  4. Pour the rest of the water.
  5. Let coffee steep for 4-5 minutes and stir.
  6. Place lid and plunger, and then press slowly.
  7. Enjoy your coffee!
